(1) The military police may set up temporary check posts or conduct mobile or foot patrols on main main roads, crossings or intersections to prevent traffic accidents.
(2) Upon receiving information about an accident involving a military vehicle, the military police shall arrive at the accident site as soon as possible and prepare a preliminary traffic accident report in the format as per schedule-1.
(3) On the basis of the preliminary accident report as per sub-rule (2), the military police will prepare the final traffic accident report in the format as per Schedule-2 and that report should be submitted to the Executive Department (Prad Viwak).
(4) On the basis of the report submitted in accordance with sub-rule (3), the departmental head of the executive department may take or cause action to be taken against the military vehicle driver found guilty according to the prevailing law.
