(1) If a vehicle registered in the name of a person wants to be transferred to the name of another person, the owner of the vehicle concerned shall apply to the office where such vehicle is registered in the format as per Schedule-12 along with the documents mentioned in sub-section (1) of Section 37 of the Act and the receipt as per Schedule-3. Must be given.
(2) If an application is received according to sub-rule (1), the office will carry out the necessary investigation in relation to such an application and if it deems it appropriate to change the name of the vehicle according to the request of the applicant, it will change the name of the vehicle subject to the Act and other provisions mentioned in this regulation.
