(1) The ordinary passport issued according to rule 6 will be distributed by the agency to which the application is submitted.
(2) If the applicant, who has submitted an application for an ordinary passport through the Nepalese mission abroad, wants to receive an ordinary passport from the department, the department can issue an ordinary passport to the applicant if he/she submits an application to the department along with the following documents stating the reason for the same:-
(a) Recommendation of the concerned Commission,
(b) Copy of certificate of citizenship,
(c) Receipt of delivery of duty to the delegation, and
(d) Copy of the national identity card if taken.
