Section 30
Priority should be given to community forests
Notwithstanding anything else written in this Act, no part of the national forest suitable for handing over to user groups as community forests shall be given as recognition forest. However, this section shall not be considered as a hindrance to providing any part of such national forest as a recognized forest to the communities below the poverty line.
