The Government of Nepal shall publish a notice in the Nepal Gazette and classify the public roads as follows and determine the road limits from the center line of such roads to thirty one meters on both the right and left sides. But even on the entire length of the same type of road, due to the geographical situation (topography) and settlement, such road limit can be reduced or even four forts can be opened to protect the river embankment around the bridge and the bridge.
(a) Highways,
(b) Subsidiary route,
(c) District Roads, and
(d) Urban route.
