Section 478
The creditor can collect interest from the debtor

(1) In the case of a document related to a transaction, if it is mentioned in the document that interest will be charged, the creditor will be entitled to collect the interest from the debtor as written in the document.
(2) According to sub-section (1), the amount of interest that the creditor can take from the debtor shall not exceed ten percent of the principal amount per annum.
(3) In the case of a document in accordance with sub-section (1), the creditor shall be entitled to collect interest from the debtor at the rate of ten percent of the principal amount per annum, if the document mentions the date of interest without specifying the rate of interest.
(4) When there is a document in accordance with sub-section (1), if it is mentioned in the document that profit will be taken without mentioning interest and the amount of such profit is not clear from the document, the creditor will be entitled to collect interest from the debtor.
