(1) There will be a recommendation committee as follows to submit recommendations to the Government of Nepal for the appointment of the chairman and members:-
(a) Member of the National Planning Commission (looking after the concerned area) – Coordinator
(b) A person designated by the Government of Nepal from among those who have at least a master's degree in a subject and have at least fifteen years of experience in the field of water supply and sanitation - member
(c) Gazetted first class officer of the Ministry of Physical Planning and Construction – Member
(2) When recommending the appointment to the post of chairman or member, the committee as per sub-section (1) shall recommend the names of at least two persons for each post and the Government of Nepal shall appoint the post of chairman or member from among the persons so recommended.
(3) Other procedures related to the meeting of the recommendation committee as per sub-section (1) shall be as determined by the said committee itself.
