: (1) There will be a recommendation committee as follows to recommend names to the Prime Minister for the appointment or nomination of office bearers and members to be nominated in the assembly:
(a) Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation – Chairman
(b) Two persons appointed by the Prime Minister from among the famous people in the field of music and theater - members
(2) When the committee under sub-section (1) recommends a name for nomination as a member of the assembly, the name should be chosen from among the people who have studied and researched in the field of music and drama or who are famous in that field, as far as possible representing various genres and fields of music and drama and including all castes, genders, and languages. Should be recommended.
(3) The committee under sub-section (1) when recommending names for the appointment of office bearers shall do so from among the nominated members of the assembly.
(4) The procedure to be followed in relation to the recommendations made by the committee under sub-section (1) shall be as determined by the said committee itself.
