Rule 8
Issuance of security letter
: 1) According to rule 7, if it is found to be inappropriate while examining the details received for livestock security, the member organization shall send in writing to the fund within one and a half days to issue the security letter of such livestock.
(2) If written according to sub-rule (1), the fund shall issue the security letter of such livestock within ninety days after conducting the necessary investigation.
(3) When issuing a security letter as per sub-rule (2), the fund shall issue a separate security letter for each livestock as per Schedule-4.
(4) The fund shall provide one copy of the guarantee article issued in accordance with sub-rule (2) to the respective guarantor and another copy to the respective member organization.
(5) If a company fails to conduct a health examination of the livestock within thirty-five days under sub-rule (1) of Rule 5 or if a member organization fails to send a written letter to the fund for issuing a security letter within the period specified in accordance with sub-rule (1), the chief executive officer shall, at the request of such company or member organization, conduct a health examination. A period of up to thirty-five days may be extended to send a letter for issuing or issuing a letter of protection.
