department or the relevant district administration office to be kept safe in the course of the investigation and investigation of the crime according to section 5, the assets or instruments and the related records and documents taken and handed over by the investigating officer shall be kept safely until such assets or instruments are sold at auction or until they are returned to the relevant owners.
