(1) If any person or organization wants to do business related to the sale and distribution of notified seeds, they should apply for a permit along with a fee of four hundred rupees to the relevant office in the format as per Schedule-9. (2) After receiving the application as per sub-rule (1), the concerned office shall issue a permit in the format as per schedule-10 and send it to the information center.
(3) Notwithstanding anything contained elsewhere in these Rules, seed dealers registered before the coming into force of these Rules shall be deemed to have been registered in accordance with these Rules.
