(1) For the purpose of Clause (c) of Section 6, a person residing in the relevant ward of a rural municipality or municipality shall be deemed to be permanently resident.
(2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), a residence in the following conditions shall also be deemed to be a permanent residence:-
(a) A person whose name is registered in the electoral roll of a rural municipality or ward of a municipality in a constituency and is absent from such constituency during his term of office after being elected as a representative of the people,
(b) A person is absent from the relevant ward of the rural municipality or municipality of the constituency in which his name is registered due to trade, business, employment, study, teaching, government or non-government service, drug treatment or any other work or due to imprisonment or imprisonment as per law. condition
