Section 76
Commencement of Voluntary Termination

(1) Proceedings related to the voluntary liquidation of the bank or financial institution shall be deemed to have commenced from the date the National Bank gives the final approval for voluntary liquidation. Must fulfill:- (a) All deposits and liabilities must be returned or fulfilled within the specified time, (b) Transactions must be stopped and no new transactions must be made, (c) No other rights can be used except those necessary for voluntary cancellation. (3) The National Bank may issue necessary instructions in the course of taking action as per sub-section (2). (4) If the person entitled to payment of the amount and other obligations as per clause (a) of sub-section (2) does not come to collect the payment within the specified time, the said amount shall be deposited in the account as directed by the National Bank. (5) Due to the approval given for voluntary liquidation, the rights and interests of the depositors and other creditors of such bank or financial institution shall not be adversely affected. The financial institution shall submit its audit report to the National Bank. (7) The National Bank shall give the final approval of voluntary cancellation to the bank or financial institution that completes the work as per this section. The National Bank will cancel the banking and financial transaction license of such bank or financial institution. (8) Banks or financial institutions that have gone into voluntary liquidation shall set aside the amount to be paid for unclaimed deposits as directed by the National Bank.
