3. Formation of Halesi Mahadevasthan Vikas Samiti

(1) A committee named Halesi Mahadevasthan Development Committee will be constituted for the social, religious, cultural and economic development of Halesi Mahadevasthan.
(2) The committee under sub-section (1) shall have the following members:-

(a) Person appointed by the Government of Nepal – Chairman
(b) Five persons nominated by the Government of Nepal from among those who have made special contributions and are interested in the social, religious, cultural and economic development of Halesi Mahadevasthan area - members
(c) Members representing Khotang District in Parliament – ​​Member
(d) Chairman, Khotang District Development Committee – Member
(e) Chief District Officer, District Administration Office, Khotang – Member
(f) Chairman, Halesi Mahadevasthan Village Development Committee – Member
(G) Member of concerned area, District Development Committee, Khotang – Member
(h) Representative, Ministry of Youth Sports and Culture – Member
(i) Head, Mail Office, Khotang – Member
(j) Executive Director – Member – Secretary
(3) The term of office of the Chairman and nominated members shall be four years and they may be re-nominated.
(4) If the Government of Nepal deems it necessary, it may publish a notice in the Nepal Gazette and make necessary additions, reductions or changes in the members of the committee.
(5) The committee may invite other domestic and foreign persons to participate as observers in the meeting of the committee as required.
