(1) If the licensee wishes, he can hand over the arms and ammunition to the Government of Nepal through the District Police Office.
(2) In the event of the death of a licensee of firearms mentioned in sub-rule (2) of rule (3), the death of the licensee of the holder of such arms and firearms in excess of the amount specified in sub-rule (1) of rule 4. It should be submitted to the Nepal Government through the relevant district police office within 6 months.
(3) In accordance with sub-rule (2) of rule 17, if the concerned Chief District Officer does not consider it appropriate to transfer the arms to the name of the nearest rightful person after the remainder of the licensee, the rightful owner shall submit the said arms to the Government of Nepal through the concerned District Police Office within thirty-five days from the date of receiving the notice thereof.
