(1) For the purpose of sub-section (1) of section 16 of the Act, there shall be the following complaint committee:-
(a) Chief Chairman of the Shipping Office (b) Representative, District Office Member
(c) Land Reforms Officer or Representative Member
(d) Representative, District Development Committee Member
(e) Chief or representative member of the District Forest Office
(f) Representative of the Office of Rehabilitation (if any) Member
(2) The meeting and procedure of the committee shall be as follows:-
(a) The meeting of the committee shall be held at the time, date and place specified by the chairman as per the requirement.
(b) The staff designated by the chairman will act as secretary of the committee.
(c) If four members are present, the quorum of the committee will be deemed to have reached the supplementary number.
(d) In the meeting of the committee, the opinion of the majority will be valid and if the votes are equal, the chairman will also have the deciding vote.
(e) Other procedures to be adopted in the meeting of the committee may be determined by the committee itself.
