Right to make insurance of postal items compulsory
: The Government of Nepal may from time to time publish a notice in the Nepal Gazette and make insurance of the postal items specified in the notice mandatory and if the postal items which are required to be insured are posted without insurance, they may deliver to the addressee only by taking the special fee specified in the notice or He can instruct the sender to make a return delivery. However, due to the collection of customs duties, the Government of Nepal will not have to bear any responsibility regarding such postal items.
