Section 27
Insurance of postal items
The Government of Nepal may from time to time publish a notice in the Nepal Gazette and give directions for the following matters:-
(a) In order to protect against the risk of loss or damage in the case of postal items being moved through the post office, subject to the provisions of other sections of this Act, insurance shall be issued from the post office to the person posting the receipt thereof, and
(b) For insurance, additional fees will be charged as specified in the same notification.
