(1) The Vice-Chancellor shall be the chief officer working full time in the University.
(2) A committee consisting of two members of the Assembly under the chairmanship of the Vice-Chancellor will be formed from the Chancellor to submit a recommendation for the appointment to the post of Vice-Chancellor, and on the recommendation of that committee, the Vice-Chancellor will be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor.
(3) The term of office of the Vice-Chancellor will be four years (4) The remuneration, facilities and other conditions of service of the Vice-Chancellor shall be as prescribed.
