In these rules, unless the subject or the context otherwise requires,-

(a) “Act” means the Civil Service Act, 2049.
(b) "Regulations" means the Civil Service Rules, 2050.
(c) "Service" means Nepal Miscellaneous Service as per Rule 3.
(d) "Employee" shall mean civil servants of Nepal Miscellaneous Services.
