Section 34
Arrangements related to visa
(1) Non-tourist visas of up to six months will be given to foreign nationals coming to Nepal to study or research for the purpose of investing in industry.
(2) Foreign investors or dependent families of such investors or authorized representatives or dependent families of such authorized representatives will be provided commercial visas to stay in Nepal as long as foreign investment in the industry is maintained. However, foreign investors who invest at least one million US dollars or equivalent in convertible foreign currency at one time and their dependent families will be provided with a residence visa as long as such investment is maintained.
(3) According to section 38, foreign workers or employees coming to work in the industry will be given a non-tourist visa on the recommendation of the authority.
