(1) Every person shall have the right to maintain the confidentiality of any personal information, writing, correspondence, data or character related to him in electronic media.
(2) No one shall unauthorizedly obtain, breach the confidentiality of, or make available to anyone unauthorized information, information, correspondence contained in any person's electronic medium.
(3) No one shall use any mechanical device to listen to any communication or conversation between two or more persons by electronic means, except with the consent of the persons concerned or as ordered by the authorized officer in accordance with law, or to record or record the sound of such matter. But the provisions of this sub-section shall not apply in the case of speech or statement made in public.
(4) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (2) or (3), any notice, information or correspondence may be listened to, recorded or caused to be heard with the consent of the person concerned or the order of the authorized officer.
(5) Other provisions regarding confidentiality of electronic information and data shall be as prescribed.
