Section 162
Punishment for mutilation

(1) If a person driving a vehicle hits, collides with, or causes an accident to a person sitting in the vehicle or outside the vehicle at any place, and if such an act is maimed, the person driving the vehicle shall be imprisoned for a term of three years to ten years and thirty thousand Penalty upto Rs. If the letter is recovered and the person driving such a vehicle will be fined five thousand rupees.
(2) If a person who does not have a driver's license commits any offense mentioned in sub-section (1) of driving, he shall be fined five thousand rupees in addition to the punishment according to that sub-section.
(3) If the owner of a vehicle or the person in charge of the vehicle allows a person who does not have a driver's license to drive the vehicle, the person who allows the vehicle to drive the vehicle shall be sentenced to half of the punishment imposed on the main offender if the person who allows the vehicle to drive the vehicle is injured, collided or injured in an accident. will be
