(1) The work, duties and rights of the chairman shall be as follows:-
(a) Determining the priority order of topics to be discussed in the committee meeting,
(b) To monitor and evaluate the plans and programs run by the Authority, and to give necessary instructions in this regard,
(c) Except as mentioned in this Act or the rules made under this Act, and in special circumstances, to carry out any action or give necessary instructions for the purpose of fulfilling the purpose of the Authority,
(d) Conducting and conducting the operations of the authority in an orderly, effective, profitable and smooth manner.
(2) The facilities to be enjoyed by the Chairman shall be as prescribed by the Government of Nepal.
