(1) If the holder wants to show the dishonored transaction by a notary public by refusing to pay or not accepting payment in accordance with section 71 of the Act, the holder must attach the relevant convertible document and any related documents in writing within a reasonable time. Complaint must be made before the notary.

(2) After receiving the complaint as per sub-rule (1), the notary must report the dishonored behavior in the format as per Schedule-2 in the relevant exchangeable power of attorney or the document attached to it. Such transaction should be recorded in the written registration book as well.
