Section 71
Disrespectful conduct can be reported (noted) by a notary public
If the negotiable instrument is dishonored by refusing to pay or not accepting it, the holder may complain to the notary public within a reasonable time and have the notary public state the act of dishonor on the letter or the paper attached to it. In this way, the date of dishonor and the reason for dishonor must be mentioned, and if the exchangeable title deed is not clearly dishonored, but the holder believes that it has been dishonored, it must also be clearly mentioned.
