Section 70
Circumstances where notice of dishonor is not required
Notice of dishonor is not required in any of the following cases:- (a) If the party to be notified does not require notice by his conduct, (b) If the drawer stops payment, (c) If the party does not suffer any loss due to non-notification, d) If the person accepting is the drawer himself, (e) If there is a non-exchangeable promissory note, (f) If the party to be notified does not find it even after searching, or if the person to be notified is unable to give the notification due to any reason other than his own fault, (g) The notification should be received If the party agrees to unconditionally pay the amount of the negotiable instrument after knowing that it has been dishonored.
