(1) The District Development Committee shall monitor the compliance of the Act and this regulation and other prevailing laws by the person who has obtained the license for general construction mineral materials. While monitoring in this way, the District Development Committee can give necessary instructions to the person who has received such a permit, stop mineral work and cancel the permit for general construction-oriented mineral work.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule (1), the district development committee shall take the recommendation of the committee and the department when suspending mineral operations or revoking the permit for general construction oriented mineral operations.
(3) If the department is not found to have carried out mineral operations in accordance with the conditions and restrictions mentioned while giving consent for the granting of the permit, it may issue necessary instructions to the concerned district development committee to stop such mineral operations or cancel the permit.
