(1) There shall be a Monitoring and Facilitation Committee as follows for the implementation and monitoring of the project to be implemented in accordance with this Act and to facilitate the said work:-
(a) Vice-Chairman of the Board - Coordinator (B) Office of the Secretary, Prime Minister and Council of Ministers (Looking at economic and infrastructure development issues) - Member (c) Secretary, Ministry of Forests and Environment - Member (d) Secretary, Ministry of Power, Water Resources and Irrigation - Member (e) Secretary, Ministry of Industries, Commerce and Supplies,       – Member
(f) Secretary, National Planning Commission -Member (g) Secretary, Ministry concerned with the project - Member (h) Chief Executive Officer - Member (i) One person appointed by the chairman of the board from among the members as per clause (l) of sub-section (2) of section 5 - member (j) Head of Public-Private Partnership Unit of the Board -Member-Secretary
(2) The work, duties and rights of the Monitoring and Facilitation Committee as per sub-section (1) and the meeting arrangements shall be as prescribed.
