Section 31
Work, Duties and Powers of the Monitoring Committee
: (1) In addition to the work, duties and rights written elsewhere in this Act, the other work, duties and rights of the Monitoring Committee shall be as follows:-
(a) To monitor the business related to the direct sale or distribution of goods of licensees and direct sellers of goods or distributors within their district,
(b) If it is found that the licensee and the direct seller or distributor of goods have not complied with any of the conditions mentioned in this Act or have acted contrary to this Act or the rules made under this Act, to issue necessary instructions to such licensee and direct seller or distributor,
(c) If the licensee and the direct seller or distributor of the goods are found to have done any work contrary to this Act or the rules made under this Act, to immediately order the entire business related to the direct sale or distribution of such goods to be suspended,
(d) If the licensee and the direct seller or distributor of the goods are found to have acted contrary to other laws in force, such licensee and the direct seller or distributor of the goods shall be prosecuted in accordance with the prevailing law or any loss or damage to any consumer due to any action contrary to this Act or the rules made under this Act. If it is found to have reached such loss, compensation for the loss shall be sent in writing to the department to be filled by the relevant licensee and the direct seller or distributor of the goods,
(e) To implement the directives given by the Board of Directors.
(2) If written in accordance with clause (d) of sub-section (1), the department shall immediately proceed with the process of legal action against the relevant licensee and the direct seller or distributor of the goods in accordance with this Act.
(a) To monitor the business related to the direct sale or distribution of goods of licensees and direct sellers of goods or distributors within their district,

(d) If the licensee and the direct seller or distributor of the goods are found to have acted contrary to other laws in force, such licensee and the direct seller or distributor of the goods shall be prosecuted in accordance with the prevailing law or any loss or damage to any consumer due to any action contrary to this Act or the rules made under this Act.
