Rule 24
License Fee

(1) When applying for a survey permit in accordance with this regulation, an amount equal to the fee specified in Schedule-11 shall be deposited in the bond account in the name of the Power Development Department.
(2) When applying for a permit for electricity generation, transmission or distribution, the fee specified in Schedule-11 shall be submitted to the Electricity Development Department.
(3) If a person or an organized organization who has applied in accordance with sub-rule (1) receives a survey permit in accordance with sub-section (2) of section 4 of the Act, the deposit amount held by him shall be deposited by the Power Development Department in the revenue account of the Government of Nepal. But if the license cannot be given, such bond amount will have to be returned to him.
(4) According to sub-section (2) of section 4 of the Act, if the applicant does not come to collect the permit within three months from the date of receiving the information about the decision to grant the survey permit, the bond amount kept as per sub-rule (1) shall be deposited in the revenue account of the Government of Nepal. However, if the person or organization receiving the permit does not collect the permit within thirty-five days from the date of publication of this rule in the Nepal Gazette, the deposit amount deposited by him shall be deposited in the revenue account of the Government of Nepal.
