Section 10
Can issue interim protective order
(1) If the court deems it necessary to provide immediate protection to the victim during the proceedings of the case in accordance with this Act, it may issue an order in the name of the victim to do the following until the final decision of the case:-
(a) To allow the victim to live in the house where he has settled, to bring him food, not to beat him and to behave politely and decently,
(b) In case of physical or mental injury to the victim, to provide proper treatment or to give suitable amount for treatment,
(c) not to or refrain from engaging in abusive, threatening or indecent behaviour,
(d) not to go to the victim's place of residence, street or office, by any means of communication or in any other way to cause distress or harass,
(e) To do or cause other necessary and appropriate actions for the benefit and safety of the victim.
(2) During the proceedings of the case, if it is deemed necessary to protect any member of the victim's family or any other person, the court may issue an appropriate order for the protection of such person.
