Rule 44
If other minerals are discovered, re-licensing will be required

(1) If a person who has obtained a permit for prospecting or mining works discovers minerals other than those mentioned in the permit, he must inform the department within thirty days and he will be given a permit to mine such minerals on the basis of priority.
(2) According to sub-rule (1), if the person who has obtained a permit to discover mineral substances other than the mineral substances mentioned in the permit wishes to mine such mineral substances, within thirty days from the date of informing the department, he shall complete the process according to rules 6, 7, 14 and 15 as required. Work or excavation permit should be taken.
(3) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-rule (2), the license holder shall not be granted a license to mine such mineral material in the following cases:-
(a) If information is not given within thirty days of discovery of mineral substances.
(b) If the license holder shows inability to carry out mineral operations.
(4) According to sub-rule (1), if the person who has priority does not obtain a permit to carry out mineral operations, the department may grant a permit to any other person to carry out such mineral operations.
