If the government of Nepal or a person who has obtained a permit has to enter someone's real estate in connection with the survey or use of water resources, the staff assigned by the government of Nepal or a person who has received a permit can enter such real estate only after giving prior notice to the person concerned. If there is any loss or damage during such entry, the Government of Nepal or the person who has received the permit will pay compensation as specified. However, if there is reasonable cause to suspect that there is unauthorized use or misuse of water resources in a house, such an employee may enter the house without prior notice to investigate the matter or to prevent any accident.
