If the defendant is unable to respond or make a statement within the time limit set by rule 10, the claim of the plaintiff shall be rejected within seven days from the date of expiry of that time limit, if any of the rightful owners of one of his rights or any other person who has the same interest as the defendant in the said case shows any credible reason. If any evidence is presented, the court will have to consider the evidence and close the case.
