Section 14
Contempt
The Special Court may proceed with contempt proceedings and if found guilty of contempt may punish with fine up to five thousand rupees or imprisonment up to six months or both. However, if the accused pleads for forgiveness to the satisfaction of the special court, the special court may pardon him or, if the punishment has already been imposed, waive or reduce the punishment, or postpone it for six months under the conditions set by the special court, and if the conditions are complied with, the punishment may be ordered not to be executed.
