(1) When enrolling students at various levels up to graduation in each academic session, the institution shall arrange reservation for ten percent of places for economically disadvantaged Nepali students who have passed the entrance exam or equivalent from a community school of that area and have permanently settled in a backward area.
(2) Women, Dalits, tribals/tribals, Madhesi and backward class students will be given priority in the places reserved under sub-section (1).
(3) Students will be selected through competition when reservation is made as per sub-section (1).
