(1) The Vice-Chancellor shall be the chief officer working full-time in the institution.
(2) A committee consisting of two other members of the assembly under the chairmanship of the Vice-Chancellor will be formed by the Chancellor to recommend the appointment to the post of Vice-Chancellor and the Chancellor will appoint the Vice-Chancellor on the recommendation of that committee.
