(1) The authority related to vacant land shall publish a notice setting a deadline of fifteen days for the owner of the land to file the details in accordance with the Act of the vacant land earned by the farmer in the format specified in Schedule-1.< /p>

(2) The notice as per sub-rule (1) shall be sent to the Chairman of the Village Development Committee and the Chairman shall post such notice in places where everyone can see it within his area and publicize it in such a detailed manner that everyone will know.

( 3) Within fifteen days from the date of posting the notice as per sub-rule (2), both the land owner and the farmer, or if they are minors or insane, their dependents must file the statement. However, if the person who has to file the statement makes a written request to extend the deadline for filing the statement or if the Ukhada officer deems it necessary to extend the deadline for filing such statement, the Ukhada officer can extend the deadline for filing the statement by a maximum of seven days and publicize the extension in such a way that everyone knows.
