(1) In these rules, if the subject or context does not indicate otherwise:-
(a) "Act" means the Extortion Act 2021.
(b) "Ukhada-related officer" means the official appointed by the Government of Nepal after publishing a notice in the Nepal Gazette.
(2) Words and phrases used but not defined in these rules shall have the meanings given in the Act.
