Rule 8
Management of Higher Secondary Schools

(1) The management of higher secondary schools affiliated in accordance with sub-section 3.1 of Section 3 of the Act shall be done by the Secondary School Management Committee formed in accordance with the Education Regulations, 2049.

( 2) According to subsection 3.2 of section 3 of the Act, the following management committee will do the management of affiliated higher secondary schools:-

(a) Local parents, donors, A person nominated by the council from among the three people recommended by the district education officer among education lovers and social workers. - Member

(c) Chairman of the concerned village development committee or the concerned ward member of the municipality - Member

(d) Local social worker , two persons nominated by the Council on the recommendation of the regional director of education, at least one of whom is a woman among intellectuals or lovers of education - Member

(e) District, one each from the parents and donors Two persons nominated by the Council on the recommendation of the Education Committee - Member

(f) One teacher representative elected by the teachers teaching in the concerned higher secondary school - member

(g) Headmaster of the concerned higher secondary school - Member-Secretary

(3) The term of office of the nominated officers of the Management Committee formed in accordance with sub-rule (2) shall be two years.
