Section 43
Industry and Urbanization
: (1) Public health impact assessment should be done before taking approval of industries, businesses and projects designated to identify and prevent adverse effects on public health and minimize risk.
(2) The criteria, mechanism and level scope of public health impact assessment according to sub-section (1) shall be as prescribed by the federal law.
(3) If an industry, business and project does not manage waste in a proper way or if it adversely affects public health due to any type of radiation, health treatment and physical damage to the affected people, animals and birds, etc. The project will have to do.
(4) Union, state, and local levels should arrange adequate sports, entertainment places, parks, walking arrangements, and cycling in order to promote public health-friendly urbanization from the point of view of health.
(5) The government of Nepal shall develop and include public health friendly index while determining the subsidy to be received by the local level in accordance with the prevailing law.
