Rule 14
Work, Duties and Rights of the Consumer Group
The work, duties and rights of the consumer group constituted as per Rule 13 shall be as follows:-
(a) To increase public awareness for the protection of forests, wildlife and natural resources,
(B) To protect the forests, wildlife and other natural resources of their area,
(c) To plant trees on all the land in his area,
(d) To operate and implement the schemes that have been taken over by him or have been transferred to him,
(e) To prevent encroachment of forests within their territory,
(f) Arrange for the operation and maintenance of the schemes completed by him,
(G) To mobilize the consumers under him for the protection and management of the biological diversity of his area,
(h) Collecting labor necessary for the completion of the schemes to be operated within their area,
(i) Providing necessary support to the relevant committee for the operation and maintenance of the scheme,
(j) Collecting the maintenance fee of the schemes completed in their area from the consumers,
(k) Gather and publicize the financial and other periodical details of the programs conducted by the consumers (l) Gather and inform the consumers by keeping correct the account of the income and expenditure of the scheme implemented by him,
(D) Before implementing such a plan regarding the plan to be operated by him, hold a meeting of the consumers and make public all the details,
(d) To comply with the guidance given by the committee (n) To perform other tasks assigned by the concerned committee.
