Section 118
Provisions related to protection of consumer interests
For the purpose of protecting the interests of consumers, the National Bank may do the following:- (a) Ensuring that licensed banks or financial institutions are conducting their financial transactions in accordance with the law and are providing financial services to consumers in a transparent and clean manner. To do, (b) to coordinate on the protection of consumer interests in the financial sector, (c) to collect information necessary to improve the protection of consumer interests in the banking sector and to bring about financial literacy.
