(1) The work, duties and powers of the Sub-Committee shall be as follows:-

(a) To determine the compensation of the land under the policy direction of the Committee,
(b) To determine the compensation for the land acquired by the Government of Nepal and submit a recommendation to the Government of Nepal through the committee,
(c) For the purpose of determining the compensation for the land, to carry out necessary investigations to determine the prevailing value of such land on the date of acquisition,
(d) To obtain the details necessary for determining the compensation of the land from the office attached to such land,
(e) Under the direction of the committee, perform other tasks necessary to determine the compensation for the land.
