(1) If any candidate listed in the closed list of candidates wishes to withdraw his name within the time period specified in the election program, he may submit an application to the Election Officer as per Rule 13.
(2) If there is any application to withdraw the name according to sub-rule (1), the name of such candidate will be removed from the closed list of candidates and the relevant party will be informed.
(3) According to sub-rule (1), after receiving information that a candidate has withdrawn his name, such party shall nominate and send another candidate within the time specified in the election program.
(4) According to sub-rule (3), when the party nominates and sends another candidate, the candidate of the inclusive group whose name has been withdrawn shall nominate and send the candidate of the same group.
