Section 31
Provision of Concessional Forests
The Government of Nepal may grant any part of the National Forest as Concessional Forests for the following purposes:-
(a) To produce raw materials required for forest based industries,
(b) to grow, sell, distribute or utilize forest produce by plantation,
(c) To conduct tourism business in such a way as to protect and develop the forest (d) To carry out agro-forestry operations so as to protect and develop forests,
(e) To operate the farm of insects, beetles and wild animals so as to protect and develop the forest.
(f) To protect and develop forests to reduce the poverty of the people below the poverty line, to conduct income generation programs as prescribed through the Division Forest Office.
