Rule 50
Period of Confession Forest
(1) Confession forest can be handed over for a maximum period of forty years.
(2) According to sub-rule (1), while determining the duration of the recognition forest, the type of forest produce to be planted in such forest and the program to be conducted in that area should be considered as a basis according to the action plan.
(3) If it is seen that the lessee has operated the recognized forest in a satisfactory manner according to the action plan and the acceptance letter, and if the lessee wishes, such forest area can be reassigned for another forty years.
