The following members will be in the Council established as per Section 3:-

(a) Nominated by the Government of Nepal from among doctors who have acquired at least twenty years of experience as a registered medical practitioner and have at least a master's degree in medical subjects- President

(b) Registered doctors who have at least fifteen years of experience, one doctor elected as prescribed from among registered doctors - Vice President

(c) President, Nepal Doctors Association - Member

(d) One member nominated by the Government of Nepal from among the deans or headmasters of universities or health science institutes studying modern medicine subjects

(e) One member nominated by the Government of Nepal from consumers

(f) ) Eight doctors elected as prescribed from among the registered doctors – members

(g) President, Nepal Dentists Association – members

(h) from among the doctors who have at least a master’s degree in medicine related subjects except dentists from the Government of Nepal Three nominees – members (i) Two nominees from Nepal government among dentists with at least master’s degree – members
