- Since it is desirable to arrange for the registration of doctors qualified in modern medicine in order to organize the qualification of doctors throughout Nepal and to use modern medicine in a scientific manner, this Act has been made with the advice and consent of the National Panchayat from Shri 5th Maharajadhiraj Mahendra Veer Bikram Shahdev.
